How It Works
AgentCart prepares your store to be sold through AI agents — shopping assistants in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, and similar tools.
The four stages
1. Scan
AgentCart crawls your store’s catalog and evaluates product data quality. It checks whether your titles, descriptions, images, pricing, and structured data are sufficient for an AI agent to confidently recommend and sell your products.
2. Score
Each scan produces two scores:
- Raw score — your store’s baseline using existing Shopify data
- AgentCart score — your effective score after AI-optimized descriptions are applied
Scores are out of 100 and broken down by category (descriptions, structured data, checkout readiness, etc.).
3. Connect
You add a URL redirect so AI agents can find your store’s UCP manifest — a machine-readable file that describes your catalog and checkout capabilities. AgentCart hosts this manifest for you.
4. Analyze
The Agent Activity tab shows which AI platforms are visiting your store, which products they’re interested in, and how many checkout sessions are being initiated.
What AgentCart fixes automatically
Once connected, AgentCart generates AI-optimized product descriptions and serves them to agents via the UCP manifest. Your Shopify storefront data is unchanged — AgentCart operates as an enrichment layer on top.
Note: Structured data (JSON-LD schema markup) requires changes in your Shopify theme and is not handled by AgentCart automatically. Ask your developer or use a structured data app.
